THE MISANTHROPE

Geek Tragedy is casting for a reading of a new adaptation of Moliere's The Misanthrope at New Bedford's Culture Park during the first weekend of December.

We will also be presenting a full production this winter in Providence RI.

Roles available:

Eliante - Female: mid-to-late twenties/early thirties. Pretty, smart and sweet. An ingenue with a brain.

Acaste - Male: early-to-late twenties. Pretty and not too smart. A romantic with a loud laugh.

If you interested in being considered for one of these parts, please contact for a copy of a speech of the character (does not need to be memorized) and an appointment. Also, please prepare a one-minute monologue from any modern play of your choice.

GENERAL AUDITIONS

**We would also like to see adults of all ages for future projects. If you would like to be considered, please prepare one modern monologue of no more than three minutes.

Headshots and resumes appreciated, but not required. No pay at the moment, but possible future stage and film projects a possibility. We are especially looking for dedicated (and frustrated) actors interested in becoming members of a company.
